Bourgondië - Franche-Comté

Living as a Burgundian is often used to indicate the good life. And we indeed find that in this region. In the northern regions of Burgundy and Franche-Comté we mainly find rolling hills with fields. The heart of Burgundy is the Morvan, a dense area. The capital of the region is Dijon.

In the town of Saint-Fargeau is a castle dating from 980 and used to house a number of well-known French people. Spectacular performances are held every year, complete with horse riders. More about this castle can be found on the internet.
