Rogaland is located in the southwest corner of Norway and with its many coves and islands it is the fjord area. The most important place is Stavanger. Boknafjorden is the largest bay, filled with islands and should not actually bear the name of fjord. The Lysefjord with the famous Preikestolen in particular is a real crowd puller.
At the end of the Lysefjord, a road winds up 27 hairpin bends. One of the bends is located in a tunnel of almost one and a half kilometers. This Lysevegen Road is considered one of the most dangerous mountain passes in the world.
If your camper is higher than 4 meters, you will unfortunately not be able to pass through the tunnel!
